I write to find out what I think. A note enters as a capture — the thing noticed before it’s understood. The ones that survive get traced to their origin and become roots: one lesson per note, a model I can hold and reuse. A few grow strong enough to leave as free pieces — the rest compost.

The three shelves

  • Capture — the raw layer: what I notice on the move — images, video, journal-fragments.
  • Root — the middle layer: first principles, mental models, distillations.
  • Free — the release: what leaves once it’s ripe — poems, essays, tools.

Collections

  • To my younger brother — a capture series: letters to a younger version of me.
  • Verse — freed pieces that left the notebook for the camera.

The deepest root in the system is argued in one continuous essay: the Thesis.

Ars longa, vita brevis.
