I was trained to examine bodies; I ended up examining systems. The notes here are how I think. The ventures are what the thinking built.
I grew up in Damascus and studied medicine — six years of learning how a complex system fails, and how it compensates. In 2011 I landed in São Paulo, where the system to examine was Brazilian bureaucracy: with Establish Brazil I spent a decade helping ~50 foreign companies become real Brazilian entities — incorporation, tax, immigration, first hires.1 The lesson outlasted the decade: the entity is the unit of prosperity, and wherever forming one is hard, prosperity waits in line.
In 2018 I turned to a different kind of registry — blockchains — and priced what breaks their trust: research showing a 51% attack on Ethereum Classic would cost about $55 million and could return a billion.2 In January 2019 the attack happened, close to the model. Trust, it turns out, carries a price sheet.
Entity.ID, founded 2026, braids the two threads: the registry where any entity — human or AI — becomes real, verifiable, and accountable. Registration is the product; standing is the feature. The full argument is the Thesis; the talks around it are on Talks & press.
Damascus, São Paulo, San Francisco — that is the route so far.
